This Privacy Policy explains how DVV Entertainment, Inc. ("DVV," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the websites and services operated under the Mind Control Theatre (mindcontroltheatre.com) and Mind Control Comics (mindcontrolcomics.com) brands (together, the "Sites").
We have tried to write this in plain language. If anything here is unclear, please contact us — we are happy to explain.
The short version, which the rest of this Policy only expands on:
DVV Entertainment, Inc. is a California corporation and is the entity responsible for the personal information processed through the Sites. We operate a single customer account system across our properties, so the choices you make about your privacy apply to your DVV account as a whole.
The Sites contain sexually explicit material and are intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if that is higher). Access requires age verification. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us.
We use your information to:
We never sell, trade, or give away your personal information to any third party. We do not sell it for money, and we do not share it for advertising or any similar purpose.
This is the default for every customer. You do not have to take any action to be opted out, and you never have. There is nothing to switch off, because nothing is switched on.
If we ever offer the ability to opt in to sharing — for example, a feature you specifically want that can't work otherwise — it will be off unless you turn it on yourself in your account settings, you will be able to turn it back off at any time, and we will keep a record of your choice. We also honor browser opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC).
The service providers listed in the next section are not an exception to this. They process information only to perform services for us, under contract, and may not use it for their own purposes — which is why giving information to them is not a "sale" or a "share."
If DVV is involved in a merger, an acquisition, a sale of assets, or a bankruptcy, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Your recorded privacy preferences travel with your information, and any successor receives that information subject to the choices you have made and to the commitments in this Policy. Keeping a durable record of your preferences is, in fact, one of the main reasons we record them.
We share information with the providers below, each only as needed for the stated purpose.

We may also disclose information when we genuinely need to: to comply with the law (including adult-content recordkeeping), to respond to lawful requests from authorities, to enforce our terms, to investigate fraud or illegal access to our systems, or to protect the rights and safety of DVV, our users, or others.
We do not offer any "log in with Google/Facebook" option; sign-in runs entirely on our own systems.
We keep cookies and tracking to the minimum needed to run the Sites.
What we do not use. We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics or measurement service. We do not use advertising pixels or trackers of any kind — no Meta/Facebook, no TikTok, no ad networks. We do not use session-replay tools or third-party chat widgets. Aside from the necessary security and font services named above, no third-party tracking code runs when you use the Sites.
Your interactions with reCAPTCHA are also subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals.
You can unsubscribe from our mailing lists at any time by logging into your account (for Mind Control Theatre, your account; Mind Control Comics has its own account page).
You can also choose, in your account settings, to stop us from sending you any email at all — including account notices and order updates.
Two things to know about that choice:
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, hashed password storage, and signed, time-limited links for content delivery.
No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. Please also note that content links are time-limited but are not tied to a specific person or device — a link that hasn't expired yet may work if it is shared, so please treat your download and streaming links as private.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to delete it (with some legal exceptions), to correct it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
You also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and to limit the use of sensitive personal information — but as explained above, we do not sell or share your information, and every customer is opted out by default. Because the Sites are adult-oriented, we treat information about the content you access as sensitive; we use it only to provide the Sites and we do not sell or share it. We honor opt-out preference signals such as GPC.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, DVV is the controller of your information, and you have the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your information, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data-protection authority.
We rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you (to provide the Sites); legal obligations (age verification, adult-content recordkeeping, tax); our legitimate interests (fraud prevention and security); and your consent (for marketing and any non-essential cookies). Where we process special-category data — which can include data relating to your sex life, as may be inferred from the content you access, and biometric data processed by our age-verification provider — we rely on your explicit consent and other conditions permitted by law.

We are based in the United States, and some of our service providers process information in the United States and elsewhere. Where we transfer information out of the EEA or the UK, we use an appropriate safeguard, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.
If you appear in or supply content for the Sites, we collect and keep identity and age-verification records and related documentation as required by adult-content recordkeeping law (including 18 U.S.C. § 2257), and we handle your information under your agreement with us and this Policy.
The charge on your credit card will appear as "DVV ENTERTAINMENT" followed by an abbreviation of the site name and our state — for example, "DVV ENTERTAINMENT MINDCONTROLTH CA" for Mind Control Theatre. We apologize for the extra information in the description; it's a requirement of our credit card processor.
The Sites may link to other websites we don't control. This Policy doesn't apply to them, so please review their own privacy policies.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above and, where required, give you additional notice.
